£1,040 raised for charity
On Sunday 4th August, the Ryemead Riders cycling team joined 25,000 cyclists and completed the 100-mile, world famous Prudential Ride London to Surrey ride in a time of 6 hours 21 minutes! This follows on from the success we had at the London to Brighton cycle ride in 2018.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust
We were riding to help raise money and awareness for a cause very close to Steve’s heart. His lovely 10-year-old niece unfortunately suffers with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past the age of 41.
Prudential ride london – The Route
It was a truly spectacular event, starting at 05:45am in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and going through London to the Surrey countryside, and then back again, finishing on The Mall in central London. On the way there were leg-testing climbs on a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics.
