One of the biggest benefits to BMO is that by cleaning the exterior of the building & jet washing the paving we have created a clean, welcoming and professional appearance which will increase the value of the property and will attract future customers. A clean building will also benefit the business because clients and employees will appreciate being in a clean environment. We have eliminated potentially harmful substances from the surfaces such as dirt, dust and mildew, which if left can have seriously harmful health effects.
ANY HURDLES?
In order to complete these works, we had to do so out of hours to avoid any disruption to the business and the public. We had to use a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) to reach the higher levels and more awkward areas around the building. While the clean was taking place, we also noticed a pair of nesting doves, which we had to work around very carefully to avoid disturbing them. We are Safe Contractor and ISO 9001 certified, ensuring that all access equipment is fully certificated, and all operatives are fully trained to carry out the works in hand. There is always a Ryemead Manager onsite who is IOSH trained to coordinate works on the day.
