Decontamination Case Study - Local Authority Sites
Client Details
Local Authority Sites
SPECIFICATION
To provide a decontamination cleaning service & deep clean to service station toilets prior to reopening after COVID-19 closure. Included ATP Testing
BENEFITS TO OUR CLIENT
Service station toilets have a heavy footfall of regular visitors which can pose a risk to anyone using them. By thoroughly cleaning the toilets and providing ATP testing we have enabled the service station to reopen the toilets which in turn is keeping visitors and staff safe.
SPECIALIST ACCESS/CLEANING METHODS UTILIZED?
Adenosine Trisphosphate (ATP) is an energy molecule found in all living things, the detection of ATP is therefore a clear indicator in determining the efficiency of cleaning processes in removing bacteria. ATP hygiene testing works by combining ATP with a liquid-stable reagent. The chemical reaction caused by the combination emits light, which is then measured as a direct proportion to the amount of ATP present. The readings were excellent following our cleaning process.
ANY HURDLES?
As the Service Station Toilets were closed to the public, we had some access issues and some sites had no power or flushing toilets however, we overcame these challenges and were able to complete the works in a timely and efficient manner.
