BENEFITS TO OUR CLIENT
First impressions really do count and our contract window cleaning service ensures that the station is looking at its best all year round. Clean railway stations give a positive impression to staff and passengers alike and provide a welcoming environment for all visitors & staff. The Government’s focus on the importance of stations as a community hub means stations need to be clean and stay clean.
ANY HURDLES?
Working at a busy train station can present many hurdles. However, we overcame these by providing our service out of work hours on a Sunday, which is the station’s quieter time. We discovered the windows hadn’t been cleaned in six years so they were extremely dirty. We had to access some of the hard-to-reach windows using a harness and eye bolt system which enabled a great finish but also presented hurdles as the operative had to climb through the window, connected to a harness, to clean the external surfaces.
We also found that there was a lot of wet paint on site and new blinds, so we had to ensure we were extra careful to avoid splashes during the clean.
We are Safe Contractor and ISO 9001 certified, ensuring that all access equipment is fully certificated, and all operatives are fully trained to carry out the works in hand. There is always a Ryemead Manager on site who is IOSH trained to coordinate works on the day.
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK?
“Once again Ryemead were professional, courteous, diligent and have shown why they are our supplier of choice for such works.”
